We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
On the morning of Tuesday January 18th, (having all read The Elder Statesman in advance of course!), we will launch a journey back through the five major plays -and into a deeper appreciation of what they contain - by engaging closely with some parts of the text by looking at contemporary reviews, and exchanging ideas on the interpretation of a play (with reference to others of his works).
